AT THE HEART OF NAMIWA CHANGE FORMATION

is the desire to live and work as creatively and as freely as possible #Fuelledbylove

WHO WE ARE

Namiwa Change Formation has innovation and data based education at its heart with the desire to create spaces where women can live and work as creatively and as freely as possible. We’re an ever-evolving and diverse network of radical, subversive and free-thinking individuals, it’s within our nature to become a catalyst for creativity and challenge the accepted notions of what art is and or can do. An approach fuelled by love and unimaginable creativity, Namiwa Change Formation supports and encourages the personal and professional development of individuals in our communities.

WHAT WE DO

NCF works mainly with women and girls from Black, Asian & Ethnic Minority (in the context of the UK) groups offering a person, and community centred approach to making new work. NCF is a springboard for alternative representations of self through community support and programming. NCF is a diverse network of dynamic leaders and thinkers, it’s a place where the only limitations are those set out by the universe.

Namiwa Change Formation is actively working in the community through tailored projects empowering people and spaces through the arts. NCF is fluid in structure and is very much shaped by its own community; it’s a living organism fuelled by LOVE! NCF works holistically educating and informing the importance and value of health, the environment and the arts.

Meet our CEO and Founder

NAMIWA JAZZ

NAMIWA JAZZ

Singer songwriter Namiwa Jazz, founded Namiwa Change Formation in early 2017.

The company was a childhood dream of having a live and workspace where creativity    was   limitless.

After graduating from a degree in Applied Performance from Birmingham School of Acting in 2015, Namiwa set out on a path to create what is Namiwa Change Formation today. The company has been through many stages of development and Namiwa and a team of women have created a company that is taking up a space in the West Midlands.

At the very heart of the company is the burning desire to live and work as freely and creatively possible in a collaborative, in a ever evolving space and growing network that is shaped by people and fuled by love. Growing up most of her life in Birmingham Namiwa Jazz has felt the lack of diversity and creative opportunity for women and girls from BAME and hard to reach backgrounds on offer in the West Midlands, NCF through its work closes that gap.

Though independently creating her own opportunities for herself, she has always found this a big issue and wants NCF to work towards co creating a new environment breathing life into new communities.
